Hi! I'm so happy to have found this community.

I was wondering if any of you had a favorite online source for plant fibers?

Thanks. :)

edit: More specifically, I'm looking for plant fibers for handspinning.

http://www.camillavalleyfarm.com/knit/cotton.htm has a ton of colors of cotton yarns in a variety of weights. i've never ordered from there, but i've bookmarked it for future. :)

Thanks! Man, I was as vague as possible in my post. I actually am looking for fibers for handspinning. :) I'll share the link with my knitting friends, though.

i tend to buy my fibers locally, what types of fibers are youw anting though? cotton? color grown cotton? or other plant fibers like the corn stuff and the soy stuff and flax and things?

i mostly just spin cotton cuz i love it so much especially the color grown stuff, i will see if i can find the places i used to order from when iw as spinning more often than i do now

ok the only place i ever ordered plant fibers online is http://www.thebellwether.com
i have used most types of plant fibers they sell but i don't like the long fibers very much i think my hands are to used to short cotton fibers so ramie feels strange to me, i have never used the synthetic stuff but i'm curious about it

I carry a bamboo top and uncarded fiber. I also carry organic bamboo and soybean yarns
